I’ve got a new short story up at Joyland.
Back when I was a reporter, the night shift would clear out late on Friday and head to a bar called Cargo, which we would proceed to close out.
Above the bar was a digital clock, and an awful lot of time was spent guessing at what it was counting down to.
This story is my guess.
